E+Co Founder LaRocco Receives International WREC HonorBloomfield, New Jersey, August 25, 2006:Philip LaRocco, founder and Executive Director of E+Co, a not-for-profit company that brings clean, affordable energy to developing countries, has been honored for his continuing contribution to spreading renewable energy. Today LaRocco received the prestigious World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) 2006 Honorary Award, sponsored by the Fondazione Carlo Marchi, during the WREC IX Congress in Florence, Italy. He also spoke about his work and goals to the congress’ audience of approximately 1,000. “I am honored to be recognized by such an esteemed international group,” LaRocco said. “We are extremely proud of the important work that E+Co does around the world supporting clean-energy enterprises in the countries that need them most.
